Literature Text

mama said
baby, there was a ninety-day rainstorm,
drove all the foxes underground,
til september brought dying,
and all god’s angels went to meet their maker.

and i asked
mama, when will i meet my maker?
never, never honey,
Your storms will go on forever.

and that was the day i decided i’d be a fox,
and drown underground with all the rest.
[again september brings dying,
but this time it’s all my fault.]
autumn leaves fall like blood-isn't it all so beautiful?

Written because I was bored. I still refuse to use capitol letters in my poems.
